Regardless of a project's scope, cost, size or complexity, my design work always adheres to the following guiding principles:
  Sub Head 3
The way your family members interact, your sleeping habits, how you entertain and how often, your need for privacy, your relationship with the outdoors – these are just a few of the numerous variables that define your individual lifestyle. The home you live in should, in turn, be a natural extension of these factors.

The design should compliment and take full advantage of the unique characteristics of the site. The best designs work with the land; the house looks like it belongs on and is part of the property and is not merely and intrusively placed on top of it. Attention to and respect of existing vegetation, grades, views and sun paths are essential to good design.

The design should present a unique and original architectural expression. Every home should possess its own distinct personality - an identity as unique as your own. Employing simple design techniques - repeating motifs, color, detailing, materials, proportions - can create an uncommon individuality and a strong identity. This also extends into custom designs for home furnishings, lighting, cabinetry and other built-in millwork.
