Since the views from this bench—high atop a broad hill—filled a 270-degree perspective, the design responded with a taller, central living space flanked by angled wings that captured the expansive panorama. The budget was also a prime cosideration, so the design utilized common building materals in creative ways (like horizontally applied battens)to provide a unique feel at a reasonable cost.
